I have previously founded and managed an esports organization for ~3.5 years with a background knowledge of what goes on behind meme pages and online political campaigns. Currently I am an NLP researcher working on a wide range of topics in the field.

Ongoing Work

Multilingual Machine Generated Text Portion Detection

Building a 5M annotated corpus of from various sources over 102 languages consisting of texts from 10 LLMs with 10% being completely human written , 10% being completely LLM generated and the rest 80% being partially machine generated. Received a grant from CohereForAI to support the work. Currently the work is over Cohere’s LLMs and will be later extended to include other LLMs both proprietary and open source. Current progress outperforms existing proprietary systems be a very large margin.

Can Large Language Models be reliable Psychometric analysts ?

Testing various approaches to use LLMs to estimate a person’s psychometric features like Agreeableness , Extraversion , Empathy, Conscientiousness , etc.. from user written essays as reaction to news articles. Exploring effect of clickbait-ish titles by using different models trained with/without the article contents along with the title. Additionally looking into effect of these based on user’s background i.e gender , age , race etc…

Langauge specific LLMs using synthetic data for Low-resource languages

Building LLMs specifically for low resource languages. Due to limited data and compute resources, testing using synthetic data (both translated and generated) from leftover grant API credits with pruned langauge compatible open-source LLMs like Aya-101
